The Dog
The Dog
Once upon a time there was a dog named Otis. Otis was a grey woolly six month puppy. Otis lived with the Smithermans. The Dad’s name was Andrew, Mum’s name was Lacy and the daughter's name was Daisy. The Smithermans lived in Rotorua. The thing Otis hated the most was his brush. When Daisy tried to comb Otis he would growl and run in circles. The thing that Otis loved the most was his doggie treats. On Friday afternoon Daisy and Otis went for a walk in the playground.
When they were about to leave Otis bought his brush. Daisy yelled “Otis put it down!” But Otis didn’t put it down, so it was no use. When they got to the nearest playground Daisy tied Otis onto a pole. While Daisy was playing, Otis was digging his brush. When Daisy got tired she untied Otis’s leash and went. Daisy didn’t realise that there was a hole that was buried. When they got home Lacy said “Where's Otis’s Brush?, Daisy,”. “I don’t know,” Daisy replied. So the Smithermans family went to the the playground that Otis dug his brush. When the family tried to look for Otis's brush there was a problem. There were so many holes! So they didn’t know which one had the brush in it. So the Smithermans looked for Otis’s brush, but they couldn’t find it, because Otis was sitting on the the buried hole with the brush in it. In ten minutes they gave up.
That afternoon Andrew walked to the wrong playground! This playground has holes as well! When Andrew dug up all the holes he couldn’t find anything! So Andrew went to the pet shop and bought a new brush for Otis. Lacy and Daisy were happy that Otis had a brush, but Otis wasn’t happy at all.
That night Daisy got Otis’s brush and daisy combed him. Otis was making growling noises when he was sleeping!
